THE STATUES
Placed on the walls at the top of pilasters or in niches, in particular on both sides of the triumphal arch, they are sculpted in plaster and painted in bright colors in a very homogeneous workmanship.

They represent both the main saints of the Catholic Church such as the apostles, and local saints such as Sainte Godeleine Sainte of the native town of Abbé Lecoutre.

We thus find more modern figures such as St Benedict Joseph Labre canonized in 1881.
The Abbé also sculpted the 12 exterior statues placed on the gables of the chapels.
