THE CONFESSIONAL AND THE SLIDE DOORS

They are remarkable for the work of wood carving deployed by Abbé Lecoutre, which rather shows a preference for the size of the stone on the rest of the church.

The door to the confessional is of Gothic inspiration, while the side doors and in particular the scene of the Annunciation are visibly of Renaissance inspiration.

Two stone bas-reliefs depicting scenes from the Passion of Christ frame the confessional surmounted by angels and a reused Christ on a cross.
